​​​​​​​Special "Jam Session" Picks  (Reservations Only)

 The purpose of these picks is to pick the field clean to keep the plants disease and pest-free. 

The gist is choose a row, pick it clean, and gather the "scratch and dent" berries perfect for fermentation for wines and kombucha or making big batches of jams. You would bring your own container and pay by the pound. These picks are by reservation only and for adults ONLY.

• Adults Only. 
• Stay in your row and pick it clean .... that means good and bad berries have to be removed. No cherry picking the rows. 
• Pay by the pound... $6.50/lb

...People who want to pick a lot of strawberries to make jams and who don't care if the strawberries have a blemish or are not big. 

...People who don't like crowds and want a peaceful time picking without children in tow. 

...People who love things organized and get to pick in their own row without being disturbed. 

What these picks are NOT....

X This is NOT our regular picking experience, but is solely for the health of our plants.

X This is NOT come cherry pick the row without cleaning out the bad berries. You will be stopped and asked to leave without any berries as it is not fair to the people who are following the rules.

X This pick is NOT fun for children and therefore an adult only pick. 

We do not like having to be the strawberry police, so please only make a reservation for this pick if you are willing to follow the rules and requirements for these special picking session.

​​​​​​​Why is there a reservation fee?

These are highly coveted picks as you are guaranteed a row to pick with berries and no crowds. If you don't show you are taking a spot away from someone else and essentially costing us money. The fee helps ensure you show up, or recoup some of our loss if you do not show. 

Can I bring a guests to help me pick?

No, reservations are per person. 

What time does picking start and end?

We start at 10am sharp, so please plan to arrive on time as we will go out as a group to show you how to pick the row. Picking ends when the row is cleaned or you get tired, but plan on at least 2 hours. 

Can I bring a kneeling pad or weeding bench?
