By requiring reservations, we can control the number of visitors and prevent overcrowding, allowing each guest to fully immerse themselves in the beauty of our surroundings. Also by knowing in advance when you plan to visit, we can communicate important information, updates, and any special promotions that may enhance your experience.
What is the reservation fee for Sneak Peek Week and what does it include?
Reservation Fee: $6/person (Children 2 and under are free... NO strollers or wagons permitted).
What's Included: A brief guided tour and 2 hours to explore the meadows.
Can I just show up and pay in person?

How does the admission fee contribute to the farm's sustainability and enhancement?
Your admission fee plays a vital role in sustaining and enhancing our farm, ensuring it remains a cherished destination for generations to come. Many may not fully grasp the time, effort, and financial commitment required to cultivate our breathtaking wildflower meadows.
The process of creating and maintaining these meadows involves meticulous attention to detail and a labor-intensive approach. Hand-seeding each meadow is a labor of love, with no machinery involved, demanding countless hours of walking—sometimes spanning up to 15 miles—to ensure even distribution of seeds.
It's crucial to understand that wildflower meadows require constant attention and care. Each year, they need to be mowed down and reseeded, especially our annual meadows. While we are gradually transitioning to more perennial seeds for sustainability, we still add annuals to provide those bursts of vibrant colors that we all cherish.
By paying the admission fee, your contribution directly supports our ongoing efforts to nurture the natural beauty that brings joy to visitors like yourself. Together, we create a lasting legacy for future generations to appreciate and enjoy the wonders of nature in all its resplendent glory. We are deeply grateful for your support, which allows us to continue this endeavor and share the magic of wildflower meadows with the world. Thank you for being a part of our journey!
How is Sneak Peek Week different from our regular opening in early September?
Sneak peek week differs from our regular opening later in the season in the following ways, with one notable advantage being the discounted admission rate. Here's a breakdown of the distinctions:
Timing: Sneak peek week occurs before our standard opening, giving early birds and loyal customers a head start to explore the beauty of our farm. It's a limited-time event designed to showcase the initial blooms, offering a unique experience to visitors.
Exclusive Preview: During sneak peek week, visitors can witness the early bloomers and flowers in bloom to watch for, creating a unique chance to witness the transformation of our farm into a vibrant, colorful haven.
Limited Availability: To ensure a more intimate and enjoyable experience, we limit the number of visitors during sneak peek week. It's often offered to our valued members or those who sign up for special notifications.
Discounted Admission Rate: One of the most significant benefits of attending sneak peek week is the discounted admission rate. As a token of appreciation to those who join us during this early period, we offer a special reduced rate for entry, making it even more enticing to visit.
Guided Tour: During sneak peek week, we have an exciting addition – a brief tour by Joe. He will point out the different meadows, explaining the various flowers in bloom and the pollinators that frequent our farm. It's a wonderful opportunity to learn about the natural beauty surrounding you and gain insights into the vital role of pollinators in our ecosystem.

Can I take photos in the wildflower meadows?
Candid in the moment cellphone only photos... Yes.
Staged photos (i.e., family photos) or professional photoshoots with any type of camera, including cellphones... No.

We want everyone to have the opportunity to bask in the beauty of the meadows without any interruptions. Trust us, your memories of the day will be even more special when you focus on the experience rather than striking a pose.
Please don't make us be the photo police and respect our photo policy. You will be asked to leave if you are caught trying to stage a photoshoot.
Do you allow professional photography on your farm?
No professional photography is permitted again this year. In the past, managing these private photo sessions proved time-consuming and challenging, given that it's just the two of us running the farm. We decided we only want to dedicate our time and effort to maintaining the serene ambiance of the farm and to ensure a delightful visit for our guests. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in creating a tranquil and pleasant environment for everyone. Your support enables us to focus on maintaining the farm's beauty and sharing its wonders.
Will my child(ren) enjoy the wildflower meadow experience?
Probably not, but it depends on the child.
We understand the joy of spending time with your little ones, but we want to ensure that everyone has the best experience at our farm. Our farm is a place of serenity and beauty, where flowers bloom and create an atmosphere of happiness.
While we welcome families of all ages, our farm is not specifically designed to entertain or distract children. However, we believe that the beauty of nature can captivate hearts at any age.
If you know your child tends to get bored easily or requires constant entertainment, it might be best to consider leaving them in the care of a trusted guardian for this particular visit. This way, you can fully immerse yourself in the tranquil surroundings, explore the breathtaking blooms, and take the time to appreciate the peaceful ambiance.
