How many flower gardens are there?

There are 6 designated gardens for you to explore. The Secret Garden up by the parking lot; the Pollinator Patch; the Grounding Garden; the Giant Flower Garden; the Cut Flower Garden and the Sunn-flower garden (Sunn Hemp).

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes, for purchases providing the Internet cooperates that day. Admission is CASH ONLY though. There is a $10 minimum and a $0.50 card convenience fee. Cash is the preferred method of payment. We do not accept personal checks.

Can I take photos with my cellphone for personal use?

While society has programmed us to be "selfie seekers" we do encourage you to keep your phone put away and really immerse yourself in the experience and nature. Just a suggestion not a rule.

PLEASE NOTE: No professional cameras allowed, even for personal use.

Do you allow professional photography in your flower gardens?

No professional photography is permitted this year. Our flower gardens are meant to be a relaxing experience to slow down and reconnect with yourself and nature. We don't want that vibe disrupted.

Can I cut my own flower(s)?

Yes, we will have the Cut Flower Garden open to cut your own bouquet for an additional fee. No other flowers outside that area can be cut.

Are the flowers a maze this year?

No. We felt a maze was not aligned with the experience we wanted to offer of peace, tranquility, and a place to reconnect with yourself, your loved ones and with nature. We want you to get lost in thought, not physically lost in our flower gardens.

How long are the nature paths?

If you walk the entire path, it is close to 2 miles long. If you explore all the gardens it closer to 3 miles of walking.

Are the nature paths stroller and wheelchair friendly?

Yes. The paths are 6ft wide and have been mowed and rolled all season, so they feel like a typical yard.

How tall are your flowers this year?

They vary from 2ft up to 8ft tall.

Will my kids enjoy the flower gardens?

Maybe. In the past when the flower fields were a maze the kids loved running through to find their way out. Now that there are more gardens and nature paths that will depend on the child. While our farm is not designed to be a place to distract or entertain children, we believe no matter your age being surrounded by flowers makes everyone happy.

What types of flowers are in the gardens?

Zinnias, Cosmos, Sunflowers, Mexican Sunflowers, Poppies, Giant Marigolds, Morning Glories, Petunias, Hydrangeas, and many more.

How many seeds do you plant a year in the flower gardens?

Too many to count but if we had to guess it would be over 1 million easy.

How many hours does it take you to seed the flower gardens?

Since we seed everything by hand it takes several days and a lot of miles of walking (over 15 miles). We also start a lot of the seeds in February to transplant out in the Spring.

Is there off street parking?

Yes. Look for parking signs as you enter.  In the event that our lot is full you can park down the road at the church.

Is there a public restroom?

Yes, we have a restroom trailer with flushable toilets and running water BUT is is out of order right now.  Please note the trailer has stairs and is not wheelchair accessible.

Can I bring my dog?

We love animals and know they are a part of your family however for the safety of our own fur babies no pets are permitted on our farm. Please also do not leave them unattended in your cars. If you have a service dog, please notify us ahead of time.
